Welcome to my Crochet and Counted Cross Stitch Page

Being a caregiver is a tough job. One way I relax is to do different crafts. My two all time favorites are crochet and counted cross stitch. From time to time I will place patterns and pictures of my work here. Come and visit often. If you like to crochet or do counted cross stitch I would love to trade patterns. Please feel free to contact me.

Christmas presents for friends & family

This counted cross stitch project was made for a dear                                             OUR FAMILY TREE
friend of mine. Took me about six months. I love you Anne!

My first attempt at Filet Crochet!                                             I made this one during our first year of marriage.

I put my hand in yours
  and together we can do
what we could never do alone.
No longer is there a sense of hopelessness.
No longer must we depend upon our own
unsteady willpower individually.
We are all together now, this family, reaching for power and strength
greater than our own.
And as we join together,
 We find love and understanding
   beyond our wildest dreams.

A strong woman works out every day to keep her body in shape..but a
woman of strength builds relationships to keep her soul in shape.
A strong woman isn't afraid of anything... but a woman of strength shows
courage into he midst of her fear.
A strong woman won't let anyone get the best of her...but a woman of
strength gives the best of herself to everyone, including herself.
A strong woman makes mistakes and avoids the same in the future...a
woman of strength realizes life's mistakes can also be unexpected
blessings and capitalizes on them.
A strong woman wears the look of confidence on her face..but a woman of
strength wears grace.
A strong woman has faith that she is strong enough for her journey..but
a woman of strength has faith that it is in the journey that she will
become strong.
